Networking Cisco CCNA Training Considered

Written by Jason Kendall on March 12, 2010 – 2:24 am

The CCNA qualification is the usual starting point for all Cisco training. With it, you’ll learn how to operate on the maintenance and installation of routers. The internet is made up of many routers, and many large organisations who have various regional departments rely on them to allow their networks to keep in touch.

To take this course, you should be clear on the operation and function of computer networks, as networks are connected to routers. Otherwise, you’ll probably struggle. You might first take a course in the basics (CompTIA Network+ as an example – maybe with the A+ as well) and then do a CCNA course. Some companies will design a bespoke package for you.

You’ll need a tailored route that covers everything to ensure you have the correct skill set and knowledge prior to commencing your Cisco training.

The way a programme is physically sent to you is usually ignored by most students. How many stages do they break the program into? What is the specific order and how fast does each element come?

Many think it logical (with a typical time scale of 1-3 years to gain full certified status,) that a training provider will issue a single section at a time, until you’ve passed all the exams. Although:

Written by Jamie Brown on March 11, 2010 – 2:49 am

This day in age, people are turning to religion in droves. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism has embedded it’s ideology in the hearts and minds of millions globally. While all these religions deserve respect and tolerance, few in the west have a grasp on the complicated concept of Buddhism.

The end all and be all of online encyclopedias, Wikipedia grabs the first slot on a Google search for the term Buddhism and the breakdown reads like this: “Buddhism is a religion and a philosophy encompassing a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices, largely based on teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha (Pali/Sanskrit “the awakened one”). The Buddha lived and taught in the northeastern Indian subcontinent sometime between the 6th and 4th centuries BCE.

He is recognized by adherents as an awakened teacher who shared his insights to help sentient beings end suffering, achieve nirvana, and escape what is seen as a cycle of suffering and rebirth. Buddhism is traditionally conceived as a path of liberation attained through insight into the ultimate nature of reality. Two major branches of Buddhism are recognized: Theravada (”The School of the Elders”) and Mahayana (”The Great Vehicle”). Theravada, the oldest surviving branch, has a widespread following in Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia, and Mahayana is found throughout East Asia and includes the traditions of Pure Land, Zen, Nichiren Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Shingon, Tendai and Shinnyo-en. In some classifications, a third branch, Vajrayana, is recognized, although many see this as an offshoot of the Mahayana. While Buddhism remains most popular within Asia, both branches are now found throughout the world.

Gambling : Serious Addiction

Written by Jacob Ross on March 5, 2010 – 2:35 am

Gambling has an addictive effect on the people who play it. Studies show that though many people participate in gambling as a form of recreation or even as a means to gain an income, gambling, like any behavior which involves variation in brain chemistry, can become a psychologically addictive and harmful behavior in some people. Reinforcement schedules may also make gamblers persist in gambling even after repeated losses.

Gambling is betting money on any game or event. It exists in a variety of forms, from nickel-and-dime poker to state-sponsored lotteries. Different forms of gambling are legal in different parts of the United States and many other parts of the world like Macau and Suncity.

The argument goes like gambling is immoral and illegal but on the other side you would see so many people, both young and old falling prey to this addiction called gambling.

If gambling is an addiction and it is bad then you and me have to find ways and means to finish it off from the bottom. But what we see today is legitimization of gambling not only in the US, but all over the world. The City of Las Vegas is seen as a role model for business and entertainment purposes.

The Power Of Subconscious Mind And The Universe

Written by Kevin J Lockwood on March 4, 2010 – 9:11 am

There is literally nothing in all creation which is as powerful and as influential as the power of the mind. Bear in mind that each and every word you utter originates from your mind, just as your actions do as well. While certain actions are a result of your conscious mind, others are manifested on the subconscious level.

For example, let’s say you’re watching TV and you decide you would like a cup of tea, you’ll then get up and go through to the kitchen to pour one. However, on other occasions you may simply stand up out of the blue and go through to the kitchen for no apparent reason, even though you may end up making yourself a cup of tea while you’re there? If this has happened to you, do you ever stop to consider why you did what you did? Probably not because rather than being an action of your conscious mind, it was an action of your subconscious mind.
