1. Look at spoken Japanese first
Plenty of people starting to learn Japanese want to know whether they ought to commence learning hiragana, katakana, and kanji, the three sets of scripts that contain the Japanese written language, or whether or not they ought to focus on the Japanese spoken language.
You’ll want to definitely focus on the Japanese spoken language when getting started. There are 2 excellent reasons for this. First of all, the natural sequence of language learning is to obtain a grasp of the spoken language before learning to read and write.
Look at when you grew up you were without a doubt pretty fluent in your mother tongue when you began learning to read and write.
Secondly, when you have some elementary knowledge of the spoken language it will make it far easier to learn to read and write Japanese, or in fact any other language. Besides what is the point of learning the characters and the scripts if you have no clue what the words mean and no idea of the grammar used to form sentences?
You’ll make much better progress learning Japanese if you initially focus on the spoken language. Read more...

Just use these hints and you’ll increase your reading speed:
You can read lines of text, more easily, by reading groups of words at one time than reading a single word, and your reading speed increases when you just widen your eye span (peripheral vision).
1. Techniques will teach you have to activate hand-to-eye coordination, then you’ll be speed reading quickly and immediately. Improve your reading abilities for business or personal use with just a little practice. You can double, even triple your current rates of reading without hurting comprehension or retention.
Different speed reading methods for different kinds of reading material:
1. Fiction, especially romance novels. Try speed reading a hot and passionate love scene. You can’t! I don’t speed read romance novels. I don’t know anyone who does that.
2. Non-Fiction. Speed reading is perfect in this dimension. Where there is something to learn that is not based on hot emotions speed reading is great. And it comes in various forms. Newspapers with narrow columns, magazines, with slightly wider columns, books, computer screens, and in the mail and email. Read more...

It takes just 11 minutes to hear how Dr. Jay Polmar learned to read fast, and you’ll learn 3 secrets to improving your life through by reading.
Wise people already know what I am talking about – learning how to use your brain properly so that what you read becomes usable data, and knowledge to help you create greater success in life.
Really, the more you read of a similar subject, the faster you read that subject. The faster you read the subject that you are familiar with, the more that it becomes a part of your long-term memory. That’s why when you first study basic primary school math, and you follow it and study smart, and go all the way through college – math is a thing that you become accustomed to. If you’ve studied really smart, it’s really easy, and you can do some of it in your head without calculator or paper and pen. Read more...

The Be Dynamic Through Speed Reading method, by Dr. Jay Polmar, is designed for people that read large volumes of printed material. Sometimes they get frustrated when they can’t keep up with all the intriguing literature that is released. Authors around the world produce printed data and fiction, at a rate so phenomenal, that even the most avid of readers struggle to keep up. With our DYNAMIC SPEED READING method, you’ll easily be able to read twice to three times the amount you now read in the same time.
The human brain/mind is capable of comprehending and cataloging from 10,000 to 50,000 units of information every minute (one unit being equal to one word) and this is based upon old statistics. Based on new technology in education and strides in self-development, your brain/mind is capable of much more.
The human body is a vehicle that records various senses and transfers them to our brain/mind. The brain/mind acts like a computer. Perhaps the brain/mind is the body’s operational computer to make easier for us to learn. We learn through information (data) that is transmitted in many ways. We receive data through our five physical senses, and our brain/mind makes decisions, choices and judgments from those factors. Read more...

With the ability to keep working, take care of a family, and receive a quality education without relocating, distance learning degrees have continued to increase in popularity. Unfortunately, the Internet also provides a venue for bogus diploma mills sprouting up to make money on the sale of fake degrees. In a report published in 2003, USA Today says 400 such businesses are currently in operation, and the numbers are increasing as these dubious businesses continue to make approximately $500 million annually.
Nevertheless, many colleges and universities are now offering legitimate degrees and diplomas. Unlike the mills, institutions of higher learning are doing everything possible to provide the same quality of education offered to students in the traditional learning environment. With access to video lectures, online courses, innovative online testing methods, and virtual library facilities, those seeking distance learning degrees can rest assured their diplomas have been justly earned. Unfortunately, many employers’ views have been tainted because of the influx of fake degrees. Read more...

Accreditation – this is perhaps the most important of the rules. Accreditation confirms that the college meets certain educational standards that are set by the accrediting education agencies. If you earn credits from an accredited online distance education college, chances are you can transfer them to another accredited institution of your choice. Your chances for acquiring a new job or getting a promotion are greatly enhanced if your degree is accredited.
Be on the look-out for unaccredited online distance education colleges otherwise known as “degree mills”. There are many fake institutions granting “accreditation” to any organization willing to pay some money for it. Before you pick your college, make sure you research that it is accredited by a legit body. If you are not sure the college you wish to attend has a legitimate accreditation, consult with the United States Department of Education or CHEA to confirm.
To ensure that the degree program your are considering is aligned with your long-term educational goals, especially if you think you’ll need to advance your degree (for example from bachelors to MBA), it’ll benefit you to check if the online distance education institution you’d want to attend for your MBA accepts transfer credits from another online institution. Attaining an online education degree has opened opportunities for many students, especially those who find paying for traditional full-time courses outside their reach. But as much as acquiring an online education degree has many benefits over traditional learning, many factors play a role in order to make it successful for online students. Because of the differences in the way that online education is disseminated and acquired, some amendments in approaching this mode of learning need be put in place to make it a success.
1. Choosing an ideal online education degree college – One of the ways to succeed is to select the right online education degree college. There are many dubious “fake colleges” out there that are only interested in selling their diplomas without providing any quality education and support to their online students. As a result, the diplomas acquired from these fake colleges may not be recognized by prospective employers who simply term then as fake degrees. To avoid this pitfall, it’s important to do background work on the college you wish to pursue. Before you enroll, check it out with relevant accrediting agencies to ensure that it is a legitimate college. Read more...

One of the main attractions of a distance learning education is the ability to continuing working, and earning a paycheck, while going to school. With the best of both worlds, students do not have to attend classes on campus. In addition, they have the flexibility to study at a personal pace and during the time best suited to their schedule. No wonder obtaining an online degree is enticing more people to further their education.
However, a distance learning education is not without certain challenges. Traditional students are spurred on by the interaction with others and attending the lectures. Without a lot of discipline and intrinsic motivation, distance learners can easily get sidetracked by life and fail to keep up with the coursework needed to pass the class. Enjoy the benefits, but do not forget the responsibilities.
So, how can a distance learner overcome the challenges of shuffling work, school, and family? Creating and sticking to a schedule is the only way to survive and succeed. The trick is to apportion a 24 hour day to include enough time for the family, work, and school responsibilities. Thus, it is very important to let the family in on the plan, and when you should not be disturbed. Again, do not give into the temptation to deviate from the plan. Read more...
