Food For Sex Drive

Written by funker on January 14, 2010 – 3:19 pm

Male sex drive plummets after you cross your prime and your body starts undergoing hormonal changes. Testosterone which is the most important hormone in males starts depleting after the age of 30 and by the time you are 40 you can feel the effects rather profoundly. Loss of lean muscle mass, weight gain, hair loss, excessive sweating, rise in LDL cholesterol levels, decline in bone density are all associated with declining testosterone in your body.

The secret to lose body fat and boost sex drive, increase sperm count and get pregnant is to eat the right kinds of food in a healthy manner and speed up your body’s metabolism. Your body’s metabolism determines how you burn calories each day. The right exercise will help you lose body fat and burn calories; it will not boost your metabolic rate. Flaxseed can also increase your metabolic rate and help you lose weight. Grounded flaxseed is a super food for you.

On the show ‘The Truth about Food’, the hypertension participants spent about 2 weeks at a zoo and were challenged to eat like an ape. As you can imagine, the only foods allowed to each participant were fresh, raw fruits and vegetables. Besides being regular, the contestants also reduced high blood pressure, reduced cholesterol levels, lost weight and transformed their self-image of themselves.
