Georges St-Pierre was born May 19, 1981 in Saint-Isidore, Quebec, to Jim and Louise St-Pierre. St-Pierre had a difficult childhood, attending a school where others would steal his clothes and money. He started learning Kyokushin karate at age seven by his father and later by a Kyokushin Karate Master to defend himself against a school bully, Nikolas Mavrikos.
He took up wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu after his karate teacher died and also trained in boxing. Before turning pro as a mixed-martial artist, St-Pierre worked as a bouncer at a Montreal night club in the South Shore called Fuzzy Brossard and as a garbageman for six months to pay for his school fees.
St-Pierre has trained with a number of groups in a large variety of gyms throughout his fighting career. Prior to his fight with B.J. Penn at UFC 58, he trained at the Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in New York City. St-Pierre received his brown belt in BJJ from Renzo Gracie on July 21, 2006. In September 2008, St-Pierre earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Bruno Fernandes. Read more...

Buying a bed is a large undertaking, and mattresses are very expensive anyway. So why not go for the luxury and comfort of the King and Queen size bed dimensions? They are, in actuality, only a couple hundred dollars more than a double bed but can offer twice the comfort.
In North American standards, a queen size bed is 5 feet by 6 feet, 8 inches. Keep in mind that a full size bed is 4 feet, 6 inches by 6 feet, 3 inches. This is marginally smaller than a queen size. Is this the upgrade you want?
Though the difference sounds like a great deal, you will be surprised when you see the mattresses side by side; a queen is not very much bigger at all. Have the salesperson measure out the size of a full mattress on a queen mattress. You will then have to decide if the span of a few fingers in either direction is worth the cost of the ‘bigger’ mattress.
But if those few inches are so important, why not just go with a king size? Where the difference between a full and a queen is small, the difference between a queen and king is huge. King mattresses are 78 inches by 80 inches, being nearly as wide as they are long. Read more...

Yes, you learn that accurately- ten years. E bay was created in September 1995, by a man referred to as Pierre Omidyar, who was living in San Jose. He needed his site – then called ‘Auction Web’ – to be a web based market, and wrote the first code for it in a single weekend. It was one of the first web sites of its type in the world. The title ‘eBay’ comes from the domain Omidyar used for his site. His company’s name was Echo Bay, and the ‘eBay Auction Web’ was initially only one a part of Echo Bay’s website at e bay.com. The first thing ever offered on the location was Omidyar’s broken laser pointer, which he received $14 for.
The site quickly became massively popular, as sellers got here to checklist all types of strange issues and bought them. Relying on belief seemed to work remarkably nicely, and meant that the website might virtually be left alone to run itself. The site had been designed from the start to gather a small charge on every sale, and it was this money that Omidyar used to pay for Auction Web’s expansion. The charges quickly added as much as more than his current salary, and so he decided to give up his job and work on the location full-time. It was at this level, in 1996, that he added the feedback facilities, to let buyers and sellers face one another and make buying and promoting safer. Read more...

Most people are taking advantage of online shopping these days. The reasons are many. Just about anything that you can buy locally, you can purchase online. You will receive a great deal of benefits to this way of shopping. Here are some to ponder.
Ease of use
You may not find a more convenient way to shop for things. Perhaps you enjoy late night shopping. Maybe you wish to shop in the early morning hours. There is no problem. It does not matter if it is 4 am on a holiday or weekend. Go to your computer and start shopping. Most of the retailers are open for business. They never close, either.
Maybe you do not feel like getting dressed to go shopping. You might not want to put on makeup or shave. Perhaps you do not wish to take a shower and change clothing. In fact, you do not have to wear any clothing at all. No one will know. It will not make any difference, when you go online. Read more...

There are a lot of new and amazing features found on the iPad. Now that you’ve had time to play with your new toy for a while, it’s time to check out a great feature I discovered.
My favorite thing to do on my iPad is to read books. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with reading traditional ink and paper publications, but they are expensive. The large screen the iPad has, along with the fact I don’t have to carry books everywhere makes it a fun thing for me to do.
One option for finding a place to buy and view books is to use the iBooks application from Apple. You can download it at the Apple store easily.
Anyone who has used this service will tell you that it is expensive and the selection isn’t the best, and books can easily cost around twelve bucks.
However, despite the cost, some iBook features really stand out. One nice tool is the ability to preview titles before ordering them, They also programmed page turning to look realistic, which adds a little more of the feel a traditional book has, Read more...

The look of the house will not be complete if the decorator, architect or the homeowner would concentrate on beautifying the interior only. Considerations must be done on the outside as well. It could be as simple as adding some outdoor furniture like lawn table or fixtures like outdoor post lanterns. These simple details would make our home stand out from the rest in the neighborhood.
You might think that outdoor post lanterns are only there to provide security for the neighborhood and community. Some people even think that these were only added as an afterthought the moment the design is finished. On the contrary, excellent architect would always include post lanterns in their design because these add to the over all look of the place.
These types of lanterns are now being utilized in recreational areas and leisure facilities. A few are used to light up dark paths or walkways. Several institutions select them to light their location. Although some might select to place lighting unit for protection purposes, another advantage for getting a lamp post is comfort. They will not require ceilings or rooftops simply because their energy source and connection is on the ground. Read more...
